He is fairly neurotic and in some cases even self-absorbed. Raymond's wife is Debra, played by Patricia Heaton who is very significant and occasionally really demanding. The pair has 3 youngsters, a daughter and twin boys.Another members of the family live right across the street which involves his parents, Marie played by Doris Roberts and Frank played by Peter Boyle. Frank is rather outspoken, blunt and sometimes plain unpleasant. Debra around the other hand is often a comprehensive reverse.

She is extremely critical of her daughter-in-law and thinks that she could be the most effective cook and mom. Debra also will get rather smothering sometimes to her sons and is dreaded by Raymond. A further crucial character on the show is Raymond's brother Robert played by Brad Garrett who's a giant police officer. Robert loves his mom and can not get absent from her even though he's normally over-shadowed by his brother.Raymond continually finds himself in bizarre situations and funny encounters. He features a family members but he even now needs his freedom to do male things often.
